Chris James

At the age of 22, Chris joined the Police, anticipating a lifelong career in law enforcement. Over more than a decade on the frontline, he discovered a passion for coaching while mentoring new officers.

During his service, the birth of his daughter introduced new challenges, as Chris sought to balance work, family life, and personal health. His well-being began to decline, inconsistent with exercise and unhealthy eating habits became common both at work and at home.

When he sought support, Chris found that most coaches and trainers were focused on achieving extreme physical transformations, which did not align with his own goals. He simply wanted to improve his health, lose some weight, and feel better overall.

As his daughter grew older, Chris placed greater emphasis on his health and later discovered the principles of Behaviour Change Coaching. He recognized the significant impact this approach could have and decided to become the type of coach he wished he had encountered at the age of 24—someone who supports individuals in achieving better health without resorting to complicated programs or unrealistic routines.

Chris now develops straightforward, effective strategies tailored to each client’s needs. He helps individuals understand their behaviours and triggers, enabling them to maintain progress and reach their health and fitness goals.

Chris has over 8 years coaching experience across both health, lifestyle and policing. Although Policing is unique in it’s challenges, it has equipped Chris with skills in resilience and stress management.
